Our Normal Area, Plus Extended Zone Moves by Arrangement
Our normal operating area is approximately 160 km from Waterloo Region, depending on routing and job requirements. Whether a particular town schedules as a day trip depends on the route, the access and the size of the job — not every town listed below is the same distance, and we confirm how your move will be scheduled when we quote. Extended-zone moves can include destinations several hours from Waterloo Region, depending on scheduling, crew requirements, routing and the nature of the move.
Distance inside the zone still affects the price, because travel time and kilometres are part of any move. The first 40 round-trip kilometres are included on local moves. Additional mileage/travel charges may apply outside the local area — the travel and billing section of our pricing page sets out how that works, and your written quote confirms the figures for your own move before you book.
Stallion is not a cross-country or interprovincial moving company. We focus primarily on Waterloo Region and regional Ontario, while selected extended-zone moves within Ontario may be accepted by arrangement. TIER TWO
Regional Ontario
Communities we travel to from Waterloo Region, served where availability allows. We are a Waterloo Region company that travels there, not a local firm based in each town. Travel is stated in your quote, and whether a move is a single day depends on routing and job requirements.
Wellington & Surrounding
Close to home and worked in both directions, usually scheduled as a single day.
Also: Georgetown, Erin & Acton.
Brant, Oxford & Perth
Out-of-town runs we make regularly. Travel is stated in your quote rather than added afterwards.
Perth, Huron & Bruce
Towns and farm country west and north of us. The furthest are a full scheduled day, and we will tell you honestly if we are not the right company for the move.
Listowel, Palmerston & Harriston, Milverton & Mitchell, St. Marys, Exeter, Goderich, Kincardine, Walkerton.
Grey, Dufferin & Simcoe
Snowbelt country. We are honest about winter dates up here before you book rather than after — a January date north of Mount Forest is a weather conversation, not a formality.
Mount Forest, Shelburne, Hanover, Owen Sound, Alliston, Barrie, Collingwood & Wasaga Beach.
Oxford, Elgin & the Lake Erie Shore
Reached where availability allows. We are a Waterloo Region company that travels there, not a local firm based in that town, and we say so on the pages themselves.
Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Simcoe & Port Dover, Caledonia, Hagersville & Dunnville, St. Thomas & Aylmer, Strathroy.
Extended Southern Ontario
Served where availability allows, some of them towards the edge of our normal operating area. We are a Waterloo Region company that travels there, not a local firm based in that town — and if we are not the right company for a particular move, we will say so.

TIER THREE
Cottage Country
Cottage moves are planned and quoted individually, because rural access and seasonal roads vary from one property to the next.
Some moves fall beyond our normal local and regional service area but can still be a good fit for Stallion. Selected Ontario destinations, including moves several hours from Waterloo Region, may be accepted depending on scheduling, crew requirements and the scope of the move. These moves are assessed and quoted individually.

What is your local service area?
Waterloo Region — Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and the surrounding townships including Elmira, St. Jacobs, Wellesley, Baden, New Hamburg and Ayr — plus Guelph and Centre Wellington. Local moves include a round-trip travel allowance as set out on our pricing page.
Do you move outside Waterloo Region?
Yes. Guelph, Brantford, Paris, Woodstock and Stratford are regular runs, and we serve the other regional Ontario communities listed here where availability allows. Our normal operating area is approximately 160 km, depending on routing and job requirements; longer Ontario moves outside our regular service area may be accepted selectively and are planned and quoted case by case. The first 40 round-trip kilometres are included on local moves. Additional mileage/travel charges may apply outside the local area. Out-of-town work may include additional-stop charges, and we confirm the actual distance when we quote.
